Cctv Baluns

Featured Replies

I would like some feedback on CCTV twisted pair baluns?

Has any body used then and if so how do you rate them?

I seen them sold by LJD and COP but if any one has used any better makes let me know.

Ive used the NVT kit, usual story in that you get what you pay for. Short distances any will probably do, longer runs (in excess of 250/300 mtrs then i would'nt use anything but NVT for sure. Personally i would use NVT everytime!

I've used the 4 channel ones from planet, quality is good.

NVT are nice too.

Customers!

I fitted some on a job and found them very good.

I had to link a remote building to a new system i fitted and ran 2 x cat5 worked 100%

I have used the Muxlab branded baluns with good results. They are not cheap, but got a good picture over 500m with power (12v 400mA) and video.

The cheaper baluns are fine for shorter distances (upto 80m) with power and video in my opinion
