Hi, I have been reading some of the excellent advice on the forum and have decided to try and DIY install a wired Texecom Premier Elite 24 panel in my ground floor flat. (It will be bells only, as there are always other neighbours in the building.) There is an obvious place to site the panel in a cupboard my hallway. However, I have read about "smash and grab" attacks that can disable the panel before the entry timer has finished. So I have two questions: 1) If someone kicked in the door and reached the panel before the entry timer finished, could they prevent the siren from triggering? Or would pulling it from the wall or destroying the panel somehow trigger a failsafe in the external sounder (which will be wired)? 2) Would it be a possible to put a PIR in the cupboard with the panel, that will trigger an immediate alarm if someone enters the cupboard even during the entry countdown? (I would put the keypad in the hall for this setup.) Thanks for any advice.

Hello, I'm suppot for Texecom for Bulgaria. Many of our clients wants to controling their alarm system in Web browser. We use IP Com module of Texecom with Wintex and works great, but Wintex is not customer oriented software and it is not easy for everyone to use it. For installers is perfect but most of clients needs a simple way (the mobile app are also good). Can you help me with Web browser solution?

Hello to all. I installed a control panel that accepts commands via phone (DTMF), but since last week, she has had trouble accepting commands. When the connection is made by a conventional phone in just 50% of attempts to understand the central command. Already when performed by a mobile phone, with the phone company "A" with success in 75% of attempts, and another (B) in almost 100%. DTMF codes are generated by the device or the phone company? Anyway, the panel is under warranty, but I want to make sure that is a defect before changing. PS: sorry for my bad english.

Hi, Just installed an optima compact 4 the other day, finished the programming, and everything seemed to work fine then needed to finally remove the extension speaker to a different position, so I did this whilst in engineers mode. I had to add this as the speaker on the box itself only worked whilst this was connected. I then reconnected the speaker and firstly there was no sound inside at all no keypad beeps or setting beeps. Is this normal and is there something that could be causing this?? for any help in advance Also the control panel then seemed to lock up
