I now see it's part of the download I got from texe.com yesterday thanks, I was worried it would corrupt the panel running V3 to V6 but it appears it will not Premier-Elite-V6_06_02-Firmware.exe

I have the flasher interface and the usb-com cable and did have the flasher software but I can't find it and it's not available from the Texecom website when I sign in with my installer account

I have an Elite 48 running legacy V3.02 firmware that I am upgrading for SmartCom support. My local Wintex structure does not contain the old flashing tools. Can anyone pPlease provide a direct download link or file transfer for the legacy standalone Premier Elite Flasher application along with the V5 intermediate firmware binary? I can request it tomorrow from Texecom but today is my day off and I was hoping to get it done if possible!

Sounds like it’s easier if I just get my long set of ladders which are on another job and I’ll just go carefully to access it

I’m not there yet but it’s just a fully working siren on the wall and the old panel has been removed for a Pyronix Euro 76 6 core cable total colours red black blue yellow green white

I have an odyssey 1 on a very hard to reach area due to building work that took place years after the original install At the panel end I have a 6 core cable labelled as SAB Is there any safe way for me to continuity test this without damaging the siren without accessing it on ladders?

Yes he’s been given all the options but as he’s stuck in his ways he doesn’t want to use an ARC because it’s an ongoing cost and it’s not “how it’s always been since it was installed and it’s all BT’s fault blah blah blah”

Customer insists on having phone calls to a list of numbers rather than the DIGI-WIFI as he says he doesn’t keep his mobile with him to get the app notifications. We’re talking an old stuck in his ways elderly man you know the type “Why does it have to be changed it’s all BT’s fault they should just leave the landline on PSTN blah blah blah”

An update to this topic for anyone reading it Scantronic SD-LTE Universal 4G Speech Dialler This is what I have proposed to the customer if they want calls to mobiles and landlines when there is an alarm activation

Speech dialler on PSTN is obsolete I’m talking about an LTE enabled dialler that can phone the customer over 4G like the old way before the broadband went digital

I was wondering if it’s possible to replace a faulty Videx keypad rather than the whole intercom as just 2 of the buttons which are part of the code have worn down over time It’s a GSM model as the customer tells me it calls their mobile phone I’ve attached a photo for reference and any help greatly appreciated I can go there and remove the keypad if an exact model number is needed to look up a suitable replacement

There are 2 aerials but it could be for each gate. I’ll take a photo of this on Friday and check if there is another gate controller or not thanks
