  1. Not worth taking it over if it's one or two systems with those in and even then you'll need to flash it.

    better off swapping it out.

The speaker outputs on them go sometimes -goes into full alarm even when unset without warning.

    That's the one

Took you a while???? Admit it the hkc software is far better than galaxy suite so you should got it done quicker

    You still buying direct?

No I mean it sat in the box for a few a month.

It was up and running in an hour when I eventually got round to it

It really isnt like that, its more down to sony, hik, ect selling their rejected chips ect, and they are reused to make cameras. Most of the cameras China sell are assembled to order not manufactured to order, it really is a case of you get what you pay for because there are variants of grade of rejects from good to poor, and the cheaper the camera the cheaper the chip they used. Many of the recorders are the same firmware but I've never found Dahua or Hik re-branded, I buy Seetong as a budget recorder. When Goolink was changed to look exactly the same as the Hik mobile software four weeks later it was back to its original design. Even the mobile phones in China are not what you think.

Fitted a few HIK rebrands over the years there is atleast one out there with the same firmware tho.

Not on a mid terrace mate.. Who actually installs a full fire panel system in their own domestic property?

Used to service a gent Vigi system in a domestic in the sticks.

However it was a stately home with outbuildings etc.

Owner built it from scratch and had a full set of drawings for fire intruder and the CCTV.

Yeah it does , who you buying from? Maybe they can send you evaluation quantam

You could remove the pillars right of psu in panel will dualcom fit then? Or they just to big

Buying from alarm supplies , had Paul up to see us and had a 1070 kit to try. Which im warming too....

Not sure if cutting the pillars would be enough , the dc6 units are even better than the current ones.....

Quantum? Great panel for replacing the all in one , switch to wireless and use bell cable etc, I get many who want to change from all in one panel

Hkc well overall better than rest , above all its not available to public, that's main selling point , panel can be locked customers don't mind that either ,

But if they can make it do a few things the dimension can do it would top it off

Keypads not pretty but customers like the solid hinge which most pads snap

Buying direct ok, but I got some bloke up north who is allowed to sell to me so more flexible when single items needed for small basher like me

1070 - I wouldn't mind seeing how you manage cables inside , as you pros know how to dress them up and gives me motivation to improve

    Good to hear

The 1070 is tight got cables and signalling (couldn't fit a Dualcom inside one the other week)

Might be easier on a new install with plenty of length on the cables but these were panel changes (f'ing nightmare)

Does the quantum take the WIFI cards?

Just sold another quantam70 today cracking little panel

I tell all my customers don't attach to insurance to save £20 as it will cost you more when you forget to set and they don't pay up, even the ones who go with a urn don't bother with the insurance discount these days because they know its not worth the £20

What do you think of them?
