If you've got no TX /RX LED's then the Panel processor has gone
This will also occur if you plug on a RM8 relay module without powering the panel down. It blows the panel

Just make up or modify some of the default templates and you're away.

Did I miss something?
The OP said Yes and No.
Doesnt always work correctly by pressing at the exact same time, I always demonstrate to customers by keeping YES pressed in, before pressing NO

We spend quite a bit with Qvis/Adata
No issues really, just generally shortages of stock now and then.

Probably installed ten ish texecom alarms in last 3 years and mines the only one that doesn't seem to work properly,
Are you really sure that its the equipment at fault, Like others, We use lots of Texecom. I don't experience this sort of issue
I would recommend going through the manual again to get a clear understanding of the zone attributes and features
As above, Guard access should start the entry timer when part set. Double check all other enabled options in the menu

Purely for testing purposes,
Change the PIR mode from Hybrid to always awake
Go through your scenario again, see if the results change
This will prove your configuration setup are or hardware
Remember to revert it back to Hybrid mode after

All dependant on power consumption as stated above,
We don't use 17ah, they always fail too early
Use 2x Yuasa/Genesis 10ah instead of 2x7ah, they are same footprint but slightly taller
Failure rate is massive lower than 17/18ah, within a short time they do drop to 11-13ah or less.
