News to me, the legal info is missing from each of the websites, google finds the info regardless
This was only interesting bit of info for me-
QuoteBritannia Monitoring Services in Goole, East Yorkshire, will be one of the first ARCs to adopt our network. The customer-focused ARC monitors around 4,000 homes and business premises around the country.
4000 x £150 is £600k which is not a lot of money for running an arc ??
(yes cctv pays more, however something like a smartcom will pay less)

Modern panels work best with 1 eol device per zone
However-
depends on the model of contacts
how they are wired
ect...

Probably be surprised what a nerd would pay for it on fleabay.
I be £100.00 or offers...
However it was probably cira £50 to buy back In the day, so inflation wise a bad investment

I'd assume late 80's ?
Probably cost a few quid at the time ??

becoming quite valuable I see...
the current offer from the Domino's is £12 for a large pizza... your "3 pizza keypad "is probably the same £ including vat as it was sold for 20 - 30 years ago when it was brand new & had a manufacturers warranty.
Factor in inflation & even though it was probably nicked form work its been a less than Stella investment...

EWD most are a negative return with negative triggers
With + & - correctly terminated, at the panel end, touch the return wire to the bell trigger wire, it should sound....

Ion is not bad for diy if you already know the scanny menus generally
You quote the orisec? And texe? Both more difficult and the euro with zem complicated for diy ? What you saying blood?
All commercial controls are much of a muchness,
I did an ION 10 recently, I find them much harder than a euro, orisec or texecom
There is no DIY controls, everything is based on assumed knowledge

(I’m a spark and don’t do alarm installs, but happy to tackle my own).
I work for lots of electrical contractors, I'd assume you'd have you own contacts
Depending on what you've got & how's it fitted-
CP-20, PE64-W or Euro 46 + Radio Zem
I can probably change the controls in 1-2 hour, 15 mins a device & 30 mins for a sounder
Nobody is producing consumer equipment, its all quirky...

many thanks for replying. Are you saying that the blind panel and the 2 keypads all need to be replaced
yes
47 minutes ago, Ed-B said:(i.e. install a new complete system) ?
changing the controls, won't make the bellbox or the detection renew....

you find new keypads that work with that panel
only new old stock, The 700 did the arming station, led & starburst
The lcd is in sporadic production, however its not the same as TSNETLCD

Either replace the controls & keypad or pay someone to replace the controls & keypads

so need it as loud as possible! If after install and not being able to hear it a couple of fields away (to the neighbours) I'll add an extra sound bomb or two LOL.
Mice fart louder than most current external sounders
Sticking lots of stuff on the alarm means lost of current drawn in alarm all my P24 need 9Ah batterys

yeah should do
I assumed the OP was making a simple solution complex...
I've never seen the decorative keypad in the flesh, normally the beef with changing stuff is the cost of painter & decorator

I'd assume a new Mk7 rkp will fit into the old metal work?

I use HIK or HIK derivatives
Cameras need power, you may as well run power & data or power & video signal back to a DVR / NVR or switch....

I bought my panel back in 1998ish....
I've been in touch with Challenger who were no help what so ever they're saying its obsolete, so can't (wont) help.Imagine my surprise at calling my local Ford dealer to find they have no body part in stock for a 1998 Ford Escort,
In fact the before he laughed his cock off the the cheeky twit in the parts department started asking if I owned a Deloran & asked me to set the flux capacitor to August 2000....

looking on ebay someone is asking £75 inc post for a 20 year old keypad.....
the question is waiting long enough for some fool to buy it
