One day I'm going to sell up & get a proper job on the tools.
I reckon I could walk into just about anywhere working with just about anything (fire/security) & be the equal of anyone already working there ?

Guard Access ?
-
program circuits 1-8 as "Normally Closed" (from zone menu)
Out the box the panel is expecting an "End of Line" circuit
-
you have programmed the zones to suit your wiring ?

There are two problems I think. When the panel is powered down and the battery disconnected, the sounder is barely audible, suggesting the battery is at fault. With everything powered up, the sounder volume randomly increases and decreases and has a "scratchy" sound, like when the volume control on a radio is bad. So like you suggested previously, possibly the piezo element at fault too. I'm going to open it up today.
cqr used to have clear plastic & you could see them inside
I use to find them inside cables upto 1m or so, I reckon they crawled in, & each time one crawled in behind the they;d move up more ?

battery in sounder will last 2yrs or 20 yrs....

Aux voltage should be around 13.6Vdc. 14 or more is too high it's likely the voltage regulator is failing..
its was probably higher when it was 1st fitted, as the electric board have brought down nominal voltages its reduced !

What ATA would be best for this?
none are likely to work correctly when needed,
you either need a digiair as signalling up grade,
of replace the controls to one which uses an app
