February 19, 201214 yr comment_281145 Hi, I purchased a texecom prestige AM360 QD by mistake, meant to get the RF360. Anyway the AM is t-eol, my veritas excel is eol only. Can I still wire the AM up to my panel? February 19, 201214 yr comment_281153 In short no, the AMQD/DT/360 will not work with a Veritas Excel as it doesn't support the resistance values required You can get different resistor "chips" for different panels but I doubt they will do one for Veritas considering this is a Grade 3 Detector Hey Ho, Lets Go Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/32616-prestige-am360-qd-and-veritas-excel/#findComment-281153 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 19, 201214 yr comment_281160 Im with Reidy, it wont work, the eol values are completely different and dont think you'll get a chip with 10k/20k Also the eol on a veritas is global so you would have to wire everything eol The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/32616-prestige-am360-qd-and-veritas-excel/#findComment-281160 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 19, 201214 yr Author comment_281164 So pulling the resistor chip out and wiring the resistors in as normal won't work? February 19, 201214 yr comment_281165 You don't have relay terminals to connect the resistors to, you just have the TEOL terminals unfortunately No chip = no circuit You need the RF360 for a Veritas Hey Ho, Lets Go Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/32616-prestige-am360-qd-and-veritas-excel/#findComment-281165 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 February 19, 201214 yr comment_281166 Why do texe insist on those weird eol values on the veritas anyway.
