June 19, 201015 yr comment_242476 I don't know. Is there any actual benefit to you, the consultant, being a member? I can't readily see one. But, in light of a certain point of detail in a certain topic this will certainly add to the fun. June 19, 201015 yr comment_242487 Do either the NSI have a specific registration category for Security Consutlants who offer advice only? there is a whole list of things an approved company is not allowed to use a contractor/ consultant for and a very much smaller list of what they can - so I very much doubt it. June 19, 201015 yr comment_242497 Id assume you can consult without approval. However the system would have to be approved so you would have to ensure your design fully complied, and your statement of this would not be enough for the installing company they would have to ensure this themselves.
