August 8, 200817 yr comment_206686 I have a Veritas 8C - serviced and new battery every 2 years as recommended by installer. Installer company closed for 2 weeks holiday! Aarm has started going off when not set. Usually just the internal alarm but today the bell as well.Any ideas please? Alternatively, how can I turn it off completely until company re-opens. Thanks in advance. Apart from the fact that you have added to a 28 month old thread, "Installer company closed for 2 weeks holiday!" ! Do they not have a 24/7 backup/call out facility? If they don't, find a real alarm company, I'm sure you must be paying for 24/7, think about it. Good luck Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care. August 8, 200817 yr comment_206688 New members cannot start new threads - so no alternative! Yes they can it happens every day. Try starting a new topic in the "introduce yourself" forum. Anyway on to the more important issues of you using a company that is available 24/7 365. On the point of "how can I turn it off completely" that would be "how to disable my alarm" and we do not provide such information. C.
