hello

i have a gardtec 300 and after decorating the tamper light is now on.

I have tried to ring the company who installed the alarm but the number is no longer in service so i think they might have gone out of business.

My alarm will now not set at all.

Please can some one help

Have you moved any part of the alarm or possibly damaged the cables?

It could well be a fault that has appeared, you could try searching for a local installer to help you out here http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/security/index.asp

Or post your location and I am sure someone will contact you.

The wall which I was decorating on has a sensor, this was triggered through vibration when I was hammering I think.

Check that the cover is firmly on the detector , some are a push fit.

Also make sure you are using the correct proceedure to reset.(code -twice IIRC)

Thanks, i have checked the cover is on and i have put the code in twice but the tamper light is still on and i can't set the alarm.

what part of the country are you in Janine.
