Guest Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Went to one once and found the mains wired off a socket to the panel with no fuse spur in 6 core under the carpet 2 for pos, 2 for neg and green and white for earth. arfur mo Posted February 10, 2006 Share Posted February 10, 2006 Technically, being AC, it wouldn't be +ve and -ve. technically discription is wrong and you are correct but they may have wired to the 12volt DC Rail hence no battery (but very loud bang) - it is also a deadly fire hazard!! and all for the sake of profit.
