we have recently bought a pub fitted with a Ademco Microtech galaxy plus CP171 alarm, with two key pads, recently we cannot set the alarm as the key pads both say engineer reset required, all the old landlord can tell us is that it was fitted 3 years ago by a bloke called john with a brummie accent :angry2:

Is this something we can sort our selves or can any body recommend a company that can please, we are in east linclonshire

thanks for all your help so far :) after reading other posts am I correct in thinking that the panel can be defaulte and re-programmed?

We've already had a local one man band out who sucked his teeth a bit and said without the enginners code we needed an entire new system

Hi Dom,

Nearly all systems can be crashed and re-programmed, some may not be worth doing but I would get a couple more opinions before I condemned it. Post your location and I am sure one of the members on here will be able to help.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

hi thanks once again every body, I will have a ring round tomorrow, in the meantime can anybody reccomend a firm in the Boston area?
