A little help needed if possible

A Customer has asked me to recommend a CCTV Monitoring company which will look after his site for the 2006 year, he has also requested that the monitoring company can warn people off with Live audio warnigs, could anyone with experience with this please let me know whats required and who to speak to.

If you are trade-apply for trade membership and you will get loads of help I'm sure from the cctv guys here but I think they may be a little more restrained with you as a general member!.

Speak to your ARC most of them provide this service and there are also a few specialist cctv monitoring companies, you can get further details on the NSI, SSAIB or BSIA websites.

I have applied for trade mebership but have not had a reply yet,

I am aware of and used a few companys that will notify the requested key holder or police, but i cannot find a company that use a live conversation to maybe deter the intruder, so as i await my request for trade membership any help would be gratefull

maybe you could ask from some manufacturer who makes equipment capable of that which ARC's uses their gear??

i know one ( i have their DC and brochures but can't find them...) at least but don't remember its name but if i am not wrong Colin knows..

Which arcs do you currently use?

Us at Initial do this with a product called site minder.

Its basically an Adpro with redwalls that sends the images to our ARC. They can speak directly to the site via speakers and/or will contact key holders etc.

Give the Initial local branch a ring our the H.O. on 0800 387024.

I have fitted loads of these and they are the dogs nuts.

We've used adpro and VICO, with the vico we connect to the rs232 on a DS2 and the ARC have full control of the domes as well.

We use an ARC called IVP who are based in Woolwich, southeast London.
