Just a quick query about 2.4 Ghz wireless transmitters.

Does anyone know if there is a problem using these in hospitals.

Have a chat with the building manager at the Hospital chap. They may have some devices that would be affected. Pager systems, Crash response systems and so on No affect should be on medical equipment itself but if its near a baby ward they may turn it down.

I have used 2.4 ghz stuff from cop and its total ****. Cost me a lot of money to put a cable in after they did not work very well at all.

Ended up running 2 x cat 5s

I have been looking at the kovert wireless transmitters from systemq, they are for a customer installed system, the receivers will also be housed in a lockable cabinet so I can't see that I am going to get much distance from them but the cameras will also be able to be hard wired also.
