Ive searched high and low and ive found speech dialers or speech and text diallers.

However I havent yet come across a text only dialler. Do any manufacturers make one?

I think text will be pretty good as the thing will leave a text message to your phone. Noone has to pick up the phone just in case they are busy etc.

What's wrong with a speech and text? You don't have to use both speech and text if you don't want.

Well speech and text is getting quite on the pricy side. £***.

I guess speech only will be ok. But would have prefered text only.

Im thinking of going for the ADE Informa. Not bad for less than *** inc delivery. Cheapest ive found so far. Question is whats it like?

Sorry my mistake. Texecom S&T is £*** inc del. Not bad i guess.

I think the more pricey one is the scantronic.menvier one. SD2 i think?

ADE Informa is ****, awful quality and a nightmare to acknowledge calls.

Stick to the Texecom speech and text, you know it makes sense.

SD2 is easier to programme.

Castle care tech make, or certainly made a text only unit, fitted one a couple of years ago, not sure if they still make it or not
