Menvier TS700.. :(

Featured Replies

did you use try the short wire before it was suggested or after?

What are the connections you have in the kepad (colours to letters) and the same at the panel.

Change the whole cable between the panel and the rkp, the method you describe is rough to say the least and again will lead to faults.

SAB refers to the external bell(Self Actuating Bell)

You also have to consider that with your earlier faults and fuse failures you have damaged the panel.

I bought it from a friend, he removed it from his old house. it was working perfect when i first installed it.. it was just after i was installing more componants a few days later (yesturday and today), now the keypad displays 8.8.8.8

As you said, its not a straight forward swop, and i do know of the connections that need changing and rewiring. its just the part of the keypad im having trouble with.

Im in peterborough, east midlands.

8888 on a menvier LED keypad means there is no communication with the panel. have you checked the keypad is adressed correctly if so follow the other guys advice and connect the keypad on a short lenght of cable to the panel.
