My parents have today had the keys to their new house.

I thought I'd be clever and follow the instructions to change the code to something they'd remember.

Only now neither the old number or the new number will work.

I think I assumed that the 0 was a 1 and then the rest went wrong.

What cam I do, before they discover what I have done.

If you have changed the code to something you do not know then you will need the services of an engineer to reset it for you, please do not be tempted to fiddle with the keypad or take the top off the panel in an attempt to reset it as you will set the alarm off in "tamper". If you post your location there may be an engineer on here close to you who can assist.

The panel will need to be taken back to the factory settings if you know not the code.... it's not a big job and won't cost the earth.... I'd tell the folks though just-in-case.... sure someone on here will be willing to help afterall it's a five minute job
