Door loops

Featured Replies

I'm sure I could get them from my usual suplier if I tried. CPC do them, just search for door loop. Even found those Abloy concealed ones there. :w00t:

The big black coiled ones? Hard to come by i can imagine these days.

You could use ordinary cable and tie to the up and down V sections of the brace bars, ive done it before and it works well and doesnt get snagged if you do it right, works better than the coily loop IMO.

Hmm, I think I went off on a bit of a tangent, good old make it up as I go along forumming again.

Now I know what you meant, I thought that was a 'invent something' scenario?

Hmm OK , but what about that armour stuff you get on a roller or angle contact, can that be bought by the meter?

Never seen it in metal but you can get smaller than 20mm plastic adaptaflex, dont ask me where tho!

I cant really see that working too well long term. When used on PTZ housings ive found it splits after a while and i can see it being worse with the plastic version.

The metal stuff isnt that flexible and will be a problem on the doors specially if theyre used often.

I could also be wrong but thats what i think will happen, it will split given enough work!
