Just done a a pair of slide aside doors. Fitted a shearlock and got the coily black (or white) cable from RS - Part no. = 224-1843. Had to use a hefty one because of volt drop

Oh, those coily ones. I was assuming you meant a specific alarm coily thing. I used to have a load of those floating about somewhere.
