Galaxy 16+

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am to have a Galaxy 16+ fitted to my property and wondered if it still comes with a Mk3 keypad or whether it will come with a Mk7?

Also what are the general features of the panel and finally what is the usual stand alone proximity reader used with the panel?

Thanks

MK3 ?????? Never come across one.

We have been fitted Mk7 keypads for 2years at least.

DGMarsden,

You should have had a quotation for the company that is installing it, and if they are a approved company NSI/SSAIB which i would think they are to be able to get hold of a Galaxy panel, then it should be listed in the specification (type of keypad) which you should have read and signed the acceptance before they start the work stating you approve the system and are happy with the system they are offering.

Dont take this the wrong way but the way your questions have been asked in pervious posts about this job, do you trust this installer or do you think you are getting ripped off.

Thanks for your concern but I do trust them, just making sure that I know everything right in my mind before I confirm with the installer and it's useful to ask you guys as you have the knowledge to help people like myself.

The Installation is happening in two weeks and prior to that I will be receiving a full specification and monitoring papers for me to check and to sign.

I would never enter into any agreement or allow any work to take place before I had the relevent quotation / legal documents.

Believe me, I have sued plenty of people before who have not fulfilled their promise and I wouldn't hesitate if this company did the same to me, but from what I have seen and come to understand so far I can't see this happening.

cheers
