Guest Avisitor
This is probably a stupid question but i will ask it anyway. I have a basic wired system to which i want to add contacts to one door which currently does not have them. The door is a shiny new aluminium one where the door is recessed a little into the frame. I know i will need to build up one contact to "meet" the other but how are they best attached to an aluminium door ? I would prefer not to drill if possible it but i dont like the idea of double sided tape either! Any other ideas? Any comments greatfully received. Brian c
Some people feel that a glue gun or silicinoe sealant will do a good job. I would rather drill and screw. If you don't know......ask. breff
Drill and screw also, a door takes a lot of banging and glued things fall off. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/5382-door-contacts/#findComment-43649 Share on other sites
