I have the Protector xtra X10 wireless alarm system fitted to my home and recently I bought a new //.National Installer.// Bell Box with siren and strobe, made by Bentel Security, part# TS100.

My alarm system is 240v but the Siren is 13.8v. How do I connect this up to my wireless alarm system?

Has anyone else done this or similar?

You will need an X10 universal module and a 1amp power supply, in order to do this.

With all due respect if you are asking basic questions such as voltage matching I would seriously consider getting a local company to wire the siren. It may not cost too much and could just save your life!

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
