I have an Eaton Alarm is Ion g2sm-kpz

 

Is there any way I can set my Eaton alarm silently at night so it does not disturb people while they are sleeping? Because it makes a loud beeping sound and than sets the alarm after 30 seconds.

In the engineer settings there should be option for silent set

If you know engineer code then you can do this and check menus

 

But if you don't have it ask you installer to do it for you, the benefits of the installer and paying him will put weigh the cost and headache

 

And if installer has disappeared there's plenty more who can work on this panel

Hi,

 

Look for any settings related to "silent arming" or "silent mode." Many alarm systems have an option to arm silently without the beeping sound. Navigate to the settings and see if there's an option to disable entry/exit beeps during arming.

Bit like asking how long is a piece of string, in order to answer your question the essential information required is what system do you have?

Generally all the alarm devices have the same feature that's why I am asking poster to try this. By the way I am using the same device, but I didn't try this.
