I installed an alarm for the house a few years ago and now am trying to install a safe limpet. elmdene e20 limpets I have bought these. I fitted them on the safe. One safe works perfectly as it should the other safe randomly after 5min or 40min will cause an “alarm”/ circuit going active and then back to normal. what is the problem here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sixwheeledbeast Posted October 25, 2023 Share Posted October 25, 2023 It could be anything as above. From my experience with them they can FA if they get bounced on the floor by accident. I assume these are new and you haven't dropped them at any point? Isolate the circuit from the device to prove the controls and wiring, then swap the working with the suspect to rule out the device. The Arab Posted October 26, 2023 Share Posted October 26, 2023 Another thing I found was if the magnetic feet have twisted this can cause them to false alarm. Make sure the feet are tight too.
