Cieska Posted September 23, 2023 Share Posted September 23, 2023 Hi, Does anyone have ideas/experience upgrading the Honeywell Dimmension Galaxy C048 firmware? How painful it is, how easy to get the right newer firmware file, etc.? It's for personal use only, and I'm not willing to pay more than just a symbolic price. My board is C048-C-C1 V6.10 (says on a sticker on the main chip). What does it take to get a new firmware that fits in? What tools do I need? GalaxyGuy Posted September 25, 2023 Share Posted September 25, 2023 You can also use an RS232 lead connected to the panel. From your other thread, it sounds like you already have the RS232 connection sorted out, so the cheapest option would be to use that.
