Hi, I recently got this Yuasa 7Ah battery, Is the code on the top of the battery still the date code? If so am I right that the date it was manufactured on was 21/11/19?

As far as I am aware they are still Year Month Day Batch, yes

Ok thanks, since the company I got it from are saying I am wrong with the date. Am I right in thinking cause its been sat on a shelf for nearly 3 years I should ask for a more recent one?

It will probably be fine, but they recommend to be installed within 15 months of manufacturer.

ok, since the one it will be replacing was manufactured in April 19, which was about 4 months old when I got it.
