Hi it`s a basic set up only 3 sensors the trouble is when i open a circuit the panel does not sense it even if i open a spare loop in panel nothing happens, i`ve been through the entire re-programming sequence (engineer mode) even reset the chip all goes well until you open a circuit .........nothing !??? any help would be appreciated .

what about the respective tamper inputs, do they work?

Are we right in thinking that you are trying these in normal mode, not while in engineer mode?

What is on the display?

Has it ever been working?

Any more details would be appreciated, we are all getting old you know

What are you expecting to happen? Unless you're in walk test or have the system set the panel won't show as a zone opening, unless it's set for chime.

one would presume that you have programmed the zones as AL etc?

they come factory as NU (not used) and therefore will not react to any chage of state

sorry if i,m saying the obvious but i always start with that and work forward

soz lads i work funny shifts n cant always get to pc , the zones don`t work when the alarm is set at all but everything else is fine, the tampers work, the PIR`s LED`s work but on walk through the zones still dont work, i`ve followed the manual to the letter regarding programming, the alarm worked at one time but tennant may have tampered with it cant see any damage and all wiring is in correct place

I`m sure it says the zones i have are set as AL (default) in the manual but i will re check this and let you know. Black night has already asked this but as i mentioned i`m sure the manual says otherwise, if i`m wrong i will accept i am a daft tw?t
