Hi All,

 

Just moved into a house which has an old ADT alarm (2002). I have all the instruction Doc's etc, and also the previous owner gave me the code so have managed to reset all user codes to something specific to me and my family. I want to add another IR to the system, but I don't know the engineer code. Obviously this has been changed from the default. I was wondering if anyone could PM me if they know a way to reset the eng code to default. Any help would be appreciated (ps, not signing up with ADT as I'm going to change the system in about 6/9 months once I finish the work in the house and they will make me pay for the year).

Hi Pete, we don't give out defaulting instructions or engineering codes for obvious reasons sorry.

 

Any decent company should be able to carry out the work for you on an ad hoc basis, have a look for a local reputable firm.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
