I have a veritas 8 alarm system in my home and would like to know how to reset the pin on it as it is still the same as the previous owners had left it, not only that my wife and I keep forgetting the pin number.

If its the older version (pre 1998 I think!) :-

enter old code (unset light will flash)

enter 0,0, (all zone lights will illuminate)

enter 0,1 (all zone lights turn off)

enter new code(1,2,3,4 will illuminate in sequence)

press PROG.

press RESET.
