greenbox897
Hi, currently Im using sdi over fiber extender, it supports RS485, but now I had to switch to the other camera, which has RS232 port, it it possible to convert RS-232 to RS-485 so I will be able to pass this signal somehow? Or I will have to buy another extender with dedicated 232 port? Thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41423-transfer-rs-232-along-with-sdi-video/ Share on other sites
petrolhead
232-485 converters should work fine over fibre, I've done just that for wind turbine telemetry before without issue.
