Must admit that my assumption was that a panel fault would have have had a different result, such as just not working. Thanks for replying. Do you mean default codes do not respond ? Or Keypad in a whole does not respond no bleeps no lights nothing ? Or frozen like with lights on? Has it been a year since you last tried using the alarm? Peter 23 Posted June 24, 2017 Author Share Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) All that is displayed on the keypad when restarting after defaulting to factory reset (or subsequently) is : "Accenta G4 RPK F131-01-111" Entering the default codes (either #### or ####) does nothing. I test it every month. I also do a walk test every month. It was when I started one of those that the problem first started, being unable to get past the "Walk Test" display. I then defaulted to factory settings (using the exact procedure in the user manual) but the default codes did not work (frozen display as given above). Tried the procedure for default codes only, and the same thing happened.
