The Visonic seems to be very popular with installers, i had two recommendation from two local installers to install Visonic Powermax over other products. Visonic's are fairly easy to install, I have fitted many of them myself in the past, but i now use texecom ricochet for all new installs. not a massive price difference and imo a far better system if its a DIY install then a visonic may be the better choice for ease of installation Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One way wireless has been around for years and I am not aware of any incidences where one way has been compromised because of the way it works. Two way is better for sure in the same way that a 3ltr engine is better than a 900cc one. Just to add if your insurance company is insisting on a burglar alarm, then you should not be considering DIY in the firts place but two way would be the choice of most professional installers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
