Compatible Bell Box?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Following your excellent advice on the forum, I am going to replace my existing bell-box.

The question is - are all bell-boxes going to be compatible with my current alarm system? It's already got the wire going from the control box indoors to the existing (broken) bell-box, so I am hoping to just use the same wire and just fit it to the new box (which I haven't bought yet).

Or is it more complicated than that? Will all boxes be compatible?

For the record, I currently have a Menvier Networker TS690R.

Thank you once again for your advice,

Kieran

Without hijacking anybody's posts and as solely my own opinion (hopefully nobody hijacks this opinion from me) I say that yes they mostly are compatible.

But since this particular bellbox is unknown type for me I suggest you to wait for few more opinions for the most compatible bellbox.

If you let us know what box it is we could probably tell you the direct replacement for it.
