datadiffusion Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 I made a mistake & left a phone system not fully secured, within 24hrs it had been found & there where thousands of attempts to make sip connections to it, only non std extensions & passwords saved the day. Same with my VoIP, thousands upon thousands of attempts 24/7, all stopped by the usual tools, thankfully. I would probably need to do a few to get my head around it. See if you can get an updated firmware. If not, IPSec would be the best of what's there.
