Cqr Inertia Sensors & Galaxy Wiring

Featured Replies

Hi,

Quick question, can both a CQR mass inertia shock sensor cable pair and a Galaxy cable pair be run in the same cable without crosstalk \ interference onto the shock sensor?

(I have a single 8 core screened cable run to a door with a Grade 3 contact to a Galaxy panel & I'm wanting to add a CQR SD3 connected to a MA350 analyser to it)

You mean just 2 detection devices on one cable?

Hmmm, 8 cores in the cable, two for the door switch (Galaxy system) and two for the inertia sensor (4 cores spare). Would the Galaxy signal be picked up on the inertia sensor cable and affect the analyser (false alarm or degraded performance). Any experience of operating these two systems together?

i cant see why, if there was data etc then yes but not an eol circuit
