matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 The main problem with wireless alarms such as powermax in my eyes is that you only get 2 wired zones. Now will visonic continue to manufacture compatible detectors for this system in the future? what if they don't? If a customer on the other hand had a honeywell galaxy 2 wireless system, then there's no problems as this system is also compatible with wired detectors and you can also double balance them In my eyes there seems to be to many people pushing out wireless systems now days but not thinking about what will happen in say the next 3-4 years?
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Not only this they're taking work from me by saying they will call emergency services from a telephone dialler system that calls them? is this legal??
al-yeti Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Adt full steam ahead with visonic? so they will produce and adt will keep buying?
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Im not NSI certified but I would never try to do something like that dont ADT use honeywell galaxy 2's?
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 I get you, best to tell the client the truth so the parasites don't win the job , honeywell all the way!
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 The ones that don't install the system that's better for the client!
norman Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Personally I think you should install the system that is good for you. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 which system would you say is more future proof in terms of replacement parts? and good for me would be to install the system that provides me with a better reputation
matt6697 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 sorry norman wasn't meant at you personally but that's just my opinion, i could make more money quicker installing cheaper stuff or could wait and build a better rep for been more honest
