Apple Tv

Featured Replies

Any reason that this wont work? Never tried it before.

Got an existing NVR connected to the subs network, all straight forward.

He has asked if he can view it on his TV. In the lounge he has Apple TV, so i cant see any reason that I cant stream the CCTV app from his ipad via airplay to his TV?

Thoughts?

Is the app airplay compatible?

Not sure if it will stream every app or not.

If it were and android box and a android phone however easy peasey.

not tried. Usually we just steer them to an app, but he also wants it on his TV. Just just a thought i had prior to site visit.

What other options there out there bar a modulator that could show a DVR on TV with just a standard coax feed?

HMDI over cat 5.

Android USB stick with the native IVMS app installed.

Is it a smart TV?

it was more of a general question really, especially if you cant cable to the TV they might want it on :)

Not really dabbled with android, can you run the app on the stick and stream to that??

If it can't be cabled from the dvr. Not sure if a HDMI to cat 5 convertor would work over homeplugs.

1-rf modulator

2-android TV stick and the App

3-MAGIC?? Lol

Definitely need to see if the remote viewing app has airplay built in... failing that as already said, a mirroring situation maybe with Android?
