So applications like the OPs above could have and should have been nailed by now. Admittedly these days anyone who wanted to knock up a circuit using free tools and have it mass produced in the far east could, should they wish to, but at least the ion comes ready approved which would be a big hurdle for an outsider. Be interesting to see where they go from here. Agreed its likely to be obscurity and death. Also be interesting to see sales figures.
