what would i program the 2 zones in the lobby as ? or what option is that ?

also could prox tags be programmed to set each group without having to insert keys into the rkp ?

for example if a prox tag is programmed to set group 2 is there a function to set by just presenting the tag ?

Fob wise you would group restrict and limit the fobs to the relevant group. But ive always preferred seperate keypads /max readers per group

Use a 3rd group and add that group to the users, then prevent group 3 arming with setting logic till 1 & 2 are set

thanks james, i have programmed using a max reader and a lock set in the past which arms the programmed group.

i take it if a prox tag is programmed for a group it would set that group by presenting to the prox rkp ? no keys would have to be enetered ?

i have 3 groups plus the 2 zones in the lobby so do i program the 2 zones in group 1,2 or 3

thats right but look in the manual about group restrict

Si set the 2 zones in the lobby to group 4 then go into Setting logic and set group 4 to set when groups 1,2+3 are set this way the lobby detectors (group4) will only set after the last person has set there group and will unset when the first of the 3 main groups are unset but remember when you set the fobs up to allow group 4 for all the fobs along with there own individual groups

hope this helps
