I was sent to a Kantech system on Friday and having never worked on them I knew I was in trouble as fault was said to be fault on reader

 

I walked in to and said I believe you have a faulty reader

No the system stopped working at 8.30 but is all working again now (13.00) can you investigate and tell me what's wrong, so did a check on the system log and it showed that server failed at 00.50, then line 4, 3 ,2 and 1 fail then restores then all reset except line 4 which went off and on a few times during the night but at about 4.00, 3 controllers showed psu battery fail then all cleared about 11.00 

Now when i questioned the security they said that during the night no one was doing any work but a guard got stuck in the lift about 3.00 in the morning and when he checked the system about 8.30 -9.00 all the line 4 controllers had red crosses on them instead of green ticks

Please can someone give me some ideas on what to start checking as I am booked to go back in just over a week as I need to be escorted in the building ( that's why I couldn't even check the controllers that said psu battery fail)
