last ice age was before man had the car, airplanes, industry etc. What caused it then? dinosaurs farting?

seems most common theory is a large meteorite strike, knocking Earth of its axis, volcano's erupted making atmosphere un-breathable and why they all died within a relatively short time window.

the meteorite left a big skid mark (canyon) somewhere - i seem to think in Canada?
