March 10, 201313 yr comment_309431 I have fitted a Galaxy G2-20. I have fitted a Pryonix deltabell E to system which is fully working. But i recently added an internal sounder to the panel and i have problems. I wired both bells by putting all wires in same terminals. I.E Both reds (h/0+) both blacks (h/o-) both blues (trigger) ad both yellows (tamper) when i put the siren into panel the deltabell starts ringing and will not stop until i take it out again. But the new internal siren works fine. I have wired it like this before and it has worked. Is it a case that i have to join the tamper from one bell to the neg from the other? or is there some sort of power issue????? March 10, 201313 yr Author comment_309465 You mean what I said about linking tamper to negative in panel. I'm not an alarm engineer. I trained for a while and stopped. So not familiar with wiring to bells in series Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/34199-fitting-2-bells-onto-galaxy-g2-20/#findComment-309465 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 March 10, 201313 yr comment_309467 2 x Sounders on a galaxy 2/20 I would fit a PSU as they don't have the best current rating. March 10, 201313 yr Author comment_309468 I had a slight issue when fitting pyronix. Kept saying bell tamper. But I forgot to link a tamper terminal to 0v in bell. In the internal siren I have +v -v, t, r. I have wired these sounders lots of times before. It's working fine on its own. And the deltabell rings when I connect the internal and it stops when I remove it, and I have no bell tamper. I first thought I must be creating a tamper in the deltabell when connection internal And the deltabell rings when I connect the internal and it stops when I remove it, and I have no bell tamper. March 10, 201313 yr Author comment_309473 Ok thanks will do. But I can't help but think back to it. I think the delta went off when I connected + - Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/34199-fitting-2-bells-onto-galaxy-g2-20/#findComment-309473 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 March 10, 201313 yr Author comment_309474 Also I remember that the I wired an ADT elemdene ext bell with an elemdene internal siren the way I described on my first post and it worked. So it must be the deltabell that's causing issue or the power. But I thought the bells draw current when they are in alarm? March 10, 201313 yr comment_309475 If it is the SAB type Elemedene they both draw power when in standby, not a lot, but they do. I think you need to use the Deltabell as a SCB and then wire as I said in series with the Tampers. Have you used a 6 or 8 core to the Delta? You can feed back to the TR- from the Elemdene that way. As mentioned you want to watch the total current draw of the two.
