March 5, 201313 yr comment_308329 Hi. We have just moved house, and have a Concept alarm fitted. I need to remove PIR sensor to decorate, but manual does not tell you how to. I assume they have tamper switches. How do I isolate it, without setting alarm off? March 5, 201313 yr comment_308330 Without the engineers code ( which we cannot provide here) you can't isolate it. It depends how the systems been setup the tamper may not be active Just remove the lid , put your code in to stop the noise and refit and reset once your done. March 5, 201313 yr comment_308354 Be aware that in taking the PIR down you may blow fuses, which could cause the outside sounder (if fitted) to sound and you may not be able to stop it. It may or may not cut off after 20 mins. If you are not confident then: 1 - don't try it at 9 o'clock at night 2 - get a firm in.
