Ain't that a touch insulting to make that statement on a forum where the vast majority have had some involvement in supplying signalling intruder alarms No insult was indended so sorry if it read that way. I was trying to get the discussion away from the storage of guns topic that I'd inadvertantly started. And actually from the replies it's pretty clear to me now that if you want full monitored/police response then buy a fully monitored pro install. And also have had some useful suggestions on kit and the debate on dialers was useful, too. Plenty of food for thought so thanks for all who have replied.
