December 2, 201213 yr comment_295598 There's a PMR ('walkie talkie') based product that does this - with the right licence you have loads more transmit power so something the size of a leisure centre wouldnt be an issue. You also obviously get a speech channel for confirmation / challenge. For the life of me I cant find the name of it anywhere. I remember thinking when I saw it that the name was non intuitve.
