October 29, 201213 yr comment_293059 Hi there, Just recently bought a new house and after a bit of googling, confirmed that the already installed alarm system is the ADE Optima Compact 6 Zone alarm. (there is no info about it in the house). I have 2 pets, a small dog and cat and currently their movement will set off the alarm. Does anyone know if these pet friendly sensors are compatible with that model? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Activ8-Tolerant-Detectors-Pack-HW3A8P/dp/B002NQDJ3O/ref=pd_cp_ce_0 Would be a lot cheaper than getting a new system fitted. Also, if they are compatible, are they easy to change over? Thanks in advance. October 29, 201213 yr comment_293060 They have to be fitted EXACTLY as the instructions. They must not face stairs, as the cat or dog will walk up them and trigger them. The cat will climb and trigger them. Cats are not really compatible with detectors. Lock it in a room or chuck it out.
