The Aritech one has a plastic key-like fastening on the bottom, you turn it 1/4 turn and then pull it out completely iirc.

And I would agree with James ref the 400, fitted hundreds of these, great DT.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

We have a few sites out there with some old school C&K detectors (8140, 8225, DT435 etc). Can't say I've ever known one cause a problem. Am I right in thinking that C&K were the first company to manufacture/patent a PIR/MW dual tech?

dunno, but I'd guess 1st to coin the term "dual tec" also were'nt IntelliSense a separate co. at 1 one time ?
