is it using the mobile skin or the full version of tsi?

As far as I'm aware it's full version, attach won't work IPad is a really cool toy and a good browser but it's no PC

I use my ipad for all my manuals. If I'm ever stuck on a panel it's really useful to have an almost a4 size screen with he ability to search for specific words in a manual in seconds. Other than that it stays in the van. Highly recommended!

you can use rdp etc to connect to a remote machine etc but not locally via usb etc unless honeywell release an ipad app etc

Use Hamachi instead. Remote Desktop does not have strong authentication.

Is hamachi the same as logmein /pro ?

Yeah Hamachi was sold to LogMeIn. Anything that creates a secure tunnel is better than just rdp on it's own.

Custodian have Smartpac Touch which gives access via mobile phone or tablet to all the normal functions of smartpac (It also allows the end user to view system logs and change keys, etc.)

You said that log me in sounded amazing. This gives a virtual remote desktop and asked did custodian have this facility. My response is that Swift have a SmartPac connection using Citrix VPN. You can use any RDP or logme in to view SmartPac on your works desktop from anywhere in the world, it has nothing to do with custodian. As stated you have on option for Smatrpac touch or even touch mobile for engineers.
