Hi guys. Can anyone please tell me does it make a difference to image quality if I use the VGA output of my dvr instead of the bnc. Need a new monitor and the VGA ones appear to be cheaper. Thanks

Depends on the quality of the dvr. May be worse maybe better. Higher end dvrs interpolate to allow the panel to run at its native resolution. You should run an lcd at its native res. A better quality lcd will handle non native resolutions better
